Tales of Abruzzo Lazio and Molise, National Park
The photographs that follow were taken in the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, in Italy. This park, one of the oldest in Italy, is an extraordinary natural heritage that we have a duty to preserve. It is impossible for us to control everything in the natural world, but we can certainly manage our habits and make them coexist with those of the wilder world. The making of these images stems from the combination of hiking and the observation of colours, and focuses exclusively on the plant world. It is in the cycle of the seasons that I find the most compelling reason to seek out the mixture of colours and their combinations. I firmly believe that through physical, intellectual, and artistic knowledge of the natural world, we can begin to reconsider our role within it.
